Maddie Gartmann is the creator of Garty Goodies and a self-taught cookie artist with a passion for teaching and content creation. She began decorating sugar cookies in 2015, learning from other artists on Instagram and YouTube. After honing her skills, she started selling custom cookies while working full-time as a high school English teacher.

Her business flourished when she left teaching in the fall of 2018 to stay home with her newborn son. In 2019, she combined her love of teaching with her passion for cookies, launching in-person decorating classes. When the pandemic hit, she adapted by offering online classes and DIY decorating kits, providing creative entertainment during quarantine.

After the birth of her daughter in July 2020, Maddie shifted her focus from custom orders to content creation, using her limited free time to share cookie-decorating videos on TikTok. Within weeks, her account went viral, reaching half a million followers by May 2021.

Now, with an audience of over a million followers across all social platforms, Maddie specializes in creating engaging digital content for brands and businesses.
